Installation
How do I install?
Installation is straightforward:
Place the pedestal over conduit at a minimum burial depth of 24″. Use the removable access panel and side wire entry slots to feed wiring, backfill to secure, and complete terminations with the pre-installed grounding hardware. Detailed instructions are included with every order, and a PDF version is available here.

What makes direct bury suitable for rugged environments?
The welded stainless construction provides rigidity and stability and withstands shifting soil, ground movement, and harsh outdoor exposure.
What amperage and device options are supported?
This model supports 15–60A devices depending on configuration. Mounting holes are pre-drilled for standard UL-listed receptacles and weatherproof covers (not supplied). Available in 1-gang horizontal, 1-gang vertical, and 2-gang layouts to match project needs.
Can I separate power and data?
Yes. An optional internal divider is available to separate power and low-voltage wiring.
How do conduits enter the pedestal?
The open bottom and side wire entry slots provide flexibility for routing and can accommodate up to two 1-1/2″ conduit raceways.
Are receptacles included?
No. Pedoc supplies the pedestal enclosure only.
Are there options for breakers or meters?
No. This model is not designed to house breakers or meters.

Does this model include a weatherproof cover?
No. The opening is designed to accept standard in-use covers which must be sourced by others.
What materials is the enclosure made from?
Each pedestal is built from heavy-gauge stainless steel — T304 standard, with an optional T316 marine-grade upgrade for coastal or high-corrosion environments.
What finishes are offered?
Outdoor-rated UV- and corrosion-resistant powder coat finishes (Black, Gray, Bronze, Green, Brown) or brushed stainless. Custom colors are available with a customer-supplied paint chip.

All Pedoc products are manufactured at our facility in Mt. Prospect, IL and Buy American–compliant.
Are the pedestals UL listed and NEMA rated?
Yes. UL Listed (USA and Canada) Standard 1773; NEMA 3R rated for wet locations.
Are ADA compliant heights available?
Yes. Models 48″ and longer, allowing for 24″ above grade, meet ADA requirements.
